The Bystander Intervention Approach is a Game-changer.
Taking a radically different approach to eradicating workplace bullying & harassment is the only way.
Often what I see is organisations stuck in ‘firefighting’ reactive mode. They spend most of their time, energy and resources responding to poor behaviours.
The organisations I see getting ahead of the game are those who have engaged senior leaders who ‘get it’ and are agitating for change.
The Bystander Intervention Approach done well is a game-changer and a critical part of the proactive formula. But it fails if leaders are not onboard and empowering their teams.
As a leader, what can you do differently to prevent poor behaviours cropping up?
